Application Description
Doctot Antibiotic is a suite of tools to aid in the correct prescribing of Antibiotics/Antimicrobials in the hospital setting.
Doctot Antibiotic affords the medical practitioner a highly efficient and easy-to-use tool to quickly find the relevant information for a given infection.
For each infection, information is presented on the:
- investigations to carry out
- probable pathogens involved
- initial antimicrobial therapy suggested
Notes and practice points are included where required.
Other functions in the app include:
- Common Pathogens' Resistance
- Immunoglobulin Treatment advice
- Anaphylaxis Management
- Notifiable Diseases
- Antimicrobial Costs
Doctot Antibiotic also includes interactive scales relevant to prescribing. These scales include:
- Creatinine Clearance
- CURB 65
- Gentamicin & Vancomycin Dose & Interval
- Renal & Hepatic Dosing Calculation
The Creatinine Clearance & CURB 65 scales are presented in wizard format so the user can easily navigate through the interview components to record patient status. The tool automatically generates the scale total and categorizes this score - based on the user input.
