Application Description
WHY USE APPSHED?
* USER-FRIENDLY: You’ll be surprised how easy and fast it is to build apps using AppShed (you don’t need to be a techie).
* BUILD WITH OR WITHOUT A TEMPLATE: AppShed builds fully native apps. You can either choose to base your app on one of our fantastic industry-specific templates (coming soon!), or simply design the entire app structure from scratch (with lots of helpful hints).
* MULTIPLATFORM: AppShed’s apps will very soon (when Full Version launches in March 2011) be compatible with iPhones, iPads and all Android smartphones. For the Beta Version we are submitting iPhone apps to the App Store.

* LOWEST COST: A standard app costs just £475 – there are NO hidden costs. Add additional functionality as your budget allows.
* UPDATE ON THE GO: For just £18 a month, AppShed apps can feature Caching. This functionality means that you can update the design/structure and ALL content of your app as often as you like. This fantastic feature removes the time-consuming resubmission process to the App Store. There’s no tie-in or contract so the Caching Add-On can be removed if you decide you no longer need to make changes.
* SYNCHRONISATION: All AppShed apps have this amazing feature, currently seen only on cutting-edge apps such as that of the UK newspaper The Guardian. It means that whenever your app encounters a WiFi or 3G connection it will automatically refresh itself with the latest information. This feature also allows for offline reading – the app will also keep the most-recently downloaded information on its pages if the app loses its connection.
* COMMUNITY: Join AppShed’s Creative Apps Generation. There’s a fast-growing online community of designers, developers, agencies, business entrepreneurs and individuals... all networking, sharing and collaborating.
