Finally available on the App Store: Babysitter Phone – the simple and useful babyphone application for your iPhone!

The Babysitter Phone app monitors the noise level in the surrounding of your iPhone. You can determine which criteria trigger off a phone call to a phone number which you have decided. So, you can, for example, spend an evening at your neighbor’s house whilst the Babysitter Phone cares about your baby. Once the baby wakes up and cries, you will get a phone call.

The preferences:

1.Noise level: Choose a noise level that has to be exceeded for generating a noise event. That way, you can easily customize the app for your individual purposes

2.Minimum number of noise events: Specify a minimum number of noise events that have to be recorded before an alarm phone call will be generated. This avoids alarm phone call only because of a singe short random noise event.

3. Time interval: Determine a time interval (in seconds) in which noise events are accumulated. Events that took place before this time interval are not counted anymore. This way, the app can be used during a longer period of time since single noise which occur during a longer period of time do not generate a alarm phone call.

We recommend you to attach the iPhone to a power supply while using this app. Otherwise loss of battery power is possible because the iPhone will not go into sleep mode while the app is activated.

Additional Information: Babysitter Phone v1.0 was tested with iPhone OS version 3.1.2. It is a known issue, that the automatic generation of alarm phone calls may not work properly with some older versions of the iPhone OS. Please make sure that your system is updated with the latest version. We cannot guarantee, that this app works with future versions of the iPhone OS.
