Battle At Sea is a fun action game with a new dual sea & air attack system. Reminds us of those good ol' "retro" 8-bit/16-bit shooters that challenged us and made us learn how to avoid getting shot down. Awesome replay value.
THE PLOT: The world is at war. Global warming has taken its toll. The Earth is covered in water. You are the DCON-7: Top-Secret Naval Warship. Defend against the terrorists and hostile forces fighting for resources. Fight naval and aerial baddies including jets, UFOs, Alien Plasma Shooting Subs, Rogue Subs, Big Boy Boss Sub, Double Big Boy Boss Subs, Enemy Gunship Boss, Enemy Sea Mine Platform Boss, and the almost impossible, EPIC Super Giant Megaship Enemy Boss.
Weapons:
Depth Charge—drop 2x to sink subs
Triple Depth Charge—same but wider range
Sea Mine—slower but kills subs in 1 shot
Quick Missile—blast those air baddies up
Homing Missile—finds air baddies [can't miss]
Mini-Gun—turbo machine gun 'em
Rail Gun—blast right though UFOs
E.M.P.—Electro Magnetic Pulse stops engines, killing all enemy aircraft and subs
** HOW TO PLAY **
Universal App. Using an iPad, iPhone, iPod (retina or not), you move your HERO SHIP back and forth—tilt left, go left; tilt right, go right. Tilt faster, go faster. Press the icon to fire a weapon.
SIMPLE. But addictive. No feature creep. Well-designed, carefully thought out game play. Zero bugs. Fully tested. Fully loaded. WHAT are you WAITING FOR?!
