iOncolex is the first iPhone application for Cancer patients and their loved ones to better understand and face the disease.
iOncolex provides up-to-date information on cancer supported by illustrations, photos and videos.
All information comes from Radiumhospitalet, Oslo University Hospital, Norway, recognized as one of the leading Cancer treatment institutions in Europe.
A medical dictionary giving simple explanations of medical terms is easily accessible on all pages.
Designed for people to quickly get the information they need.
iOncolex has a search function and users can store their own bookmarks.
iOncolex will run without a network connection, all text, images and illustrations come with the application. A network connection is only needed for viewing videos.
The current version covers three cancer types: Prostate, Breast and Lung.
Later versions will cover all cancer types.
