Application Description
The score was created integrating information obtained from the recognition of hemodynamic instability in the first hours of development, the initial response to treatment, the dose of drugs in use and data hemodynamic and tissue perfusion sequential. Some characteristics of the patient, considered important as the presence of co-morbidity and age, have also been included in the score. A table addressing multiple items was created, and, if the value of 10 points has been achieved in the score, the critical patient have indication of cardiac output monitored. The system of points helps distinguish questions according to their importance and removes much of the subjectivity of this process, making them more precise.
The intention is to facilitate, for the intensivist, the identification of the patient must have the cardiac output monitored and obtain favourable results with its approach. Assign score points in critical patient and facilitate your decision to monitorate the cardiac output.
