CarPower is an app for your car, but can be used for any vehicle!
CarPower turns your iPhone into an advanced trip computer, which not only shows speed, distance, etc. but also the actual power, in horsepower (only in PRO version), developed by the motor while running. All this without any external hardware, just mount your iPhone in your car and drive.
You set the app with the car you are using. If you do not see your vehicle in the app, then you can easily add your own vehicle.
With stunning graphics your current data will be presented while you are driving, and everything is logged at runtime, which you then easily can analyze in the various charts afterwards.

You can also save the driving to a file in KML format. KML is suited for many map applications, both on the computer, but also applications for the iPhone.
You can save the file to your computer via file sharing feature in iTunes, where you move it from the iPhone to the computer by pressing the software Tab in iTunes, scroll down and select CarPower and save the files you want (they last 10 runs are always there).
One can then analyze the run on your computer in more detail.
The route shown on the map is clickable anywhere to get more detailed information for any given time, such as speed, time and power.
The color of the route you have run is an indication of speed, from 0 km / h (mi / h) to 250 km / h (160 mi / h) in a gradual color from yellow to red. There is a pushpin every 10 km (or every 5 mile). It also placed a pin at the start and end point, where the total distance is also reported.

You can set up its trip computer into a digital or a classic analog appearance.
With various charts, you can see how you drive, your max speed, and were it happened, you can see how smooth you are running (acceleration graph) to improve your fuel economy by learning how to run smoother. You can see your power output in horsepower for your driving and see where you had your ups and your maximum power.
Everything can then be shared via Facebook, SMS or e-mail.
Compete with your friends on who might have the lowest average consumed power (which means that the driving is energy efficient), or just brag to your friends who managed to have the maximum power output.

You can set the app to present your data in kilometers or miles.
You can set the menu in two languages, English or Swedish.
You can set up your tire friction (normal summer tires as default setting)
CarPower comes loaded with many standard cars. Is not your particular vehicle listed, you can easily add it.
Make your settings for your own vehicle as accurate as possible for best results.

CarPower can be upgraded to CarPower PRO with an in-app purchase, and then the power measurements will be activated.
