Dementia
Detailed App Info:
Application Description
Doctot Dementia is a suite of the most widely used clinician-administered assessment scales relevant to the treatment of cognitive impairment and dementia. Doctot Dementia affords the medical practitioner a highly efficient and easy-to-use tool to measure important functions of patients suffering from Dementia and Mild Cognitive Impairment. The interactive scales available in Doctot Dementia are:
- Standardised Mini-Mental State Examination ( s- MMSE )
- qMCI (Quick Mild Cognitive Impairment score)
- qADL (Quick Activities of Daily Living assessment)
- MTS (Abbreviated Mental Test Score)
- GDS (Geriatric Depression Score)
- Short IQ Code
- qBehaviour (Quick Behaviour assessment)
- qDepression (Quick Depression assessment)
- Clock Draw Test
Each assessment scale is presented in wizard format so the user can easily navigate through the interview components to record patient status. Assistance is provided with each assessment where required. This includes: additional information on how to perform an item of the scale, automatic calculation of certain operations (e.g. spelling a word backwards calculation) and visual aides (e.g. images for patients to identify).
The tool automatically generates the scale total and categorizes this score - based on the user input. Each scale has an "Information" section to provide the user with background details.
A "Help" section is included to aid in the use of the tool.
Functionality is also included for:
- PIN Protection for security purposes
- Patient Results Management (save, delete & sort options)
- Automatic Email Generation of each patient assessment result
- Preference Settings for the various assessments
- Shake-to-Reset Scale functionality
Developed under the Doctot brand, the content for Doctot Dementia was largely provided through the generous contribution of Prof. William Molloy, Chair of the Centre of Gerontology and Rehabilitation, UCC, Cork, Ireland. Doctot Dementia is kindly supported by an unrestricted educational grant from Lundbeck.
