Application Description
ArchieMD presents the paramedic task of airway management using NuMask’s CPR IntraOral Mask (IOM®) for cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). The NuMask CPR IOM® can be used by anyone properly trained in CPR and the use of this device, including EMS and hospital personnel, lifeguards, and military medics. This application is fully illustrated using 3D graphics and interactive exercises to reinforce key learning concepts. This lesson includes: assessing the patient, opening and inspecting the airway, inserting the CPR IOM®, and performing CPR with the CPR IOM®.
DeviceDrills, from the makers of Medrills, provides compelling training material for new and innovative medical devices. The app is dedicated to an individual medical task and includes:
1. An instructional animation providing a deep understanding of the medical task.
2. Training with interactive exercises which enable practicing the task to prepare for assessment.
3. In app purchase of $0.99 for a testing section to evaluate the user’s knowledge and skill of a task for Advanced CEH credit hours. Score above 85% with no critical task failures to receive a certificate for nationally recognized 1.0 Advanced CEH credit hours certified by CECBEMS.
