Application Description
Travel the world through your exercise!
A fun and motivating way to log and track your exercise miles. Run, walk, bike, swim, or even “travel by elliptical”…..you put in the miles, and we take you on an adventure. Depending on the route you choose, discover historical city information, view “must-see” sights or landmarks, local typical foods, recipes, architectural beauty, and other cultural aspects of the cities you “visit”. A world mapping system allows you to see where you are, where you've been and where you're headed.
To maximize your efforts, use a multiplier to automatically increase your total mileage, which allows you to see more places in a shorter amount of time.
Here’s how it works:
• Say you run or walk 3 miles/day, 5days/week. That’s 15 miles/week.
• If you choose the 50x multiplier the 15 miles/week becomes 750 miles/week.
• So in 24 weeks, you can travel around the world (> 18,300 miles), visiting anywhere from 15-25 cities or sites depending on the trek you take.
• Using the 100x multiplier = 1,500 miles/week. Around the world in about 12 weeks.
• Using the 200x multiplier = 3,000 miles/week. Around the world in about 6 weeks.
App Highlights:
• Activity multipliers automatically "weight" your activity to help equalize work per mile. For example, if you swim, there is a 10x multiplier as it is harder to swim a mile than run or walk a mile.
• Get "bonus" mileage for going outside your normal activities.
• Set your app for miles or kilometers.
• Automatically indicates how much further you have to "unlock" the next destination.
• Easily let others know "where you've been" through an easy Facebook integration.
• All sorts of routes: historical, cultural, sports-oriented, more and more added each month.
• Calendar keeps track of your workout mileage.
• Stay motivated by anticipating getting to the next site or location.
• Share and compete with others.
• Seasonal worldwide competitions.
