This beautifully designed App by artist Jake Tilson is based on the Fortune Teller Miracle Fish – a novelty red cellophane fish 'whose movements will indicate your future' when placed on your hand.
One of Jake's first web-based artworks was an online fortune cookie called COOKIE, (TheCooker 1994). So it seems apt that his first app should also be based on a fortune telling object – this time a fish.
Jake has designed his own version of the Fortune Fish. This app won't predict your fortune, instead it will suggest how to cook a fish. Once cooked you can share the results by uploading a photograph to Tumblr.
The app has been developed and published by Turned On Digital.
