Application Description
Higher Maths is a revision app for the SQA Scottish Higher Mathematics Course. All course content is written by qualified teachers.
The app is designed to help students revise the course content in an easy format. Since it is an app on an iPhone or iPod touch, students will always have it within easy reach and can use it to study on the bus, the train or anywhere! The app has the following features:
1. Course notes in an easy to read format
2. Multiple choice questions covering each topic individually and collectively
3. A draw facility to do rough work on screen
4. Direct access to exam papers if the device can connect to the internet
Although the questions are in a multiple choice format, and can all be done without a calculator, some of them are more demanding than what would be required in the multiple choice part of the Higher Maths exam (Paper 1 Part A). There are certain area of the course that cannot be assessed in a multiple choice format e.g. optimisation.
