ICATER ToolKit
Detailed App Info:
Application Description
The ICATER ToolKit shares resources created by the Iowa Center for Assistive Technology Education and Research (ICATER). ICATER is part of the College of Education at the University of Iowa that focuses on preparing both pre-service and in-service teachers to use assistive technology tools for students with disabilities.
The ICATER ToolKit highlights two particular projects, Weekly AT App Reviews and AT Tips of the Day. In the Weekly App Reviews Section, users will be able to view short, concise webinars of apps that can be used to help students with disabilities. In the AT Tip of the Day section, users will see short nuggets of information on AT in education that can easily be implemented by teachers for each day of the school year.
The ICATER ToolKit also has a link to the ICATER website and Twitter feed, as well as a direct link to request and app to be reviewed. This app is a great resource for teachers to access quick, concise information on assistive technology for use with students with disabilities in the classroom.
