Application Description: India is home to more than 1.2 billion people or 17% of the worlds total population. Every day there are thousands more people to house and feed.

This application is designed to display several important statistics about India and the problems the Indian government has to face in trying to feed it's population whilst trying to avoid environmental disaster.

There are counters for the following:

Arable land lost due to soil erosion
Forest area
CO2 emissions
Species going extinct
India's net population
Births from beginning of year
Deaths from beginning of year
Air Pollution
Desertification


The app starts with a full screen of 9 images. You can pinch and zoom in the traditional way to look closer at each subject, or you can tap on which subject you wish to see. Whilst zoomed you can scroll around the different categories.
