"iTuningFork - Tone Generator" plays reference notes for You to tune Your musical instruments, in the same way as a real tuning fork.
The "Preset Instrument Tunings", different for each type of instrument, provide easy access to the notes for some common tunings. You have to select which instrument You want to tune and "iTuningFork - Tone Generator" will do the rest, calculating one button for each tone for that instrument. You can click the individual preset instrument buttons, or you can click the "Play Loop" button to play them (all the preset tones) in sequence for the chosen instrument. In this case the "Timeout" setting determines how long each note is played for.
The Volume and Timbre can be changed also while playing a tone to obtain special tone frequency shift effects.
The volume control allows the precise adjustment for the audio tone level and will allow You to tune your musical instrument more easily.
The Note Duration controls allows You to decide whether notes should be played only as long as the tone button is pressed, or continuously until You press the button "Stop", or with a fixed timeout adjustable in seconds.
Complete all the tones keyboard with 9 octaves for each selected tone waveform.

- Triangle waveform
- Sawtooth waveform
- White Noise waveform

Tone generator frequencies:
- from 5Hz to 22000Hz (some very low frequencies or very high frequencies tones may not be heard using the device speaker… for these tones You have to use an external audio amplifier or a specific device)
