The first of nine books, "Jasper Saves the Day", is about a duckling that loses his foot because he disobeys his mother. Jasper learns �even though he has only one foot� that with hard work and perseverance he can still achieve many things. As the ultimate result of losing his foot, he is able to save the flock from hunters.


Many of the pages have an optional “Paint Me” feature for children to finger paint the pages and create their own custom version of the book.
