"Lighthouses of the Balearic Islands – Free" – free abstract of the complete edition, presenting all information and photos for 6 of the lighthouses.

"Lighthouses of the Balearic Islands" is a well designed and informative app for all lighthouse fans, photographers, yachtsmen, sailors, holidaymakers on Balearic Islands, hikers and for many others. The app is combined with a free Photo Sharing web service in which users can share their own lighthouse photos (only inlcuded in charged editions).

"Lighthouses of the Balearic Islands" presents all relevant lighthouses on Majorca, Minorca, Ibiza, Formentera and the small neighbouring islands. For each of the 32 lighthouses the app shows several impressive photos in full retina resolution (a total of 183 photos) which were taken by the photographer Helmut Kraus from land or from sea.
This free of charge edition includes 2 lighthouses from each of the islands Majorca, Minorca and Ibiza/Formentera.
On three panels the app delivers detailed information on the lighthouse.
• Map panel: An animated beacon marks the location of the lighthouse on the map. With a tip on the map the lighthouses position is shown in GoogleMaps, so you can see where the lighthouse exactly is and how you will get there. Moreover, you receive journey tips.
• Lighthouse data panel: This panel shows in a neatly arranged way all technical specifications contained in the official lists of lights and fog signals.
• Info panel: Here you get background information on the history and the technology of the lighthouse.

For each of the main islands the app presents an island map on which all lighthouses are indicated with their names. In the night view the beacons are animated. A tip on the name opens the lighthouse screen.
Alternatively the lighthouse can be selected from an alphabetical list or from a list with the international numbers.
All texts in the app are in German and in English language.
