Detailed App Info:
Application Description
This application allows you to simply create electronic maps with GPS enabled real time tracking. All of this is accomplished without the use of network services. You can save these maps to your own personal library of maps you have created.
Creating GPS enabled electronic maps is a simple 2 step process.
Step 1 Select your image
TIP - Images may come from the picture library.
TIP - If you need an offline map quickly, you can capture a screen shot (hold power button and tap home button)
TIP - Select an image from a website by tapping the image and selecting save, which will add it to the photo library.
Step 2 Define the latitude and longitude for the 4 corners of the map image.
TIP - Enter the latitude and longitude in decimal format.
TIP - If you are at the corner you are defining, simply tap the cross hairs icon and the latitude and longitude will be automatically populated.
TIP - If you are manually defining the coordinates, there are many free services that can give you the latitude and longitude of a point on the map simply by right clicking. (Using maps.google.com service just right click the point and select “What’s Here” and you will be given the latitude and longitude)
Enjoy your map!
