“MatchIt - The Card Game” is a Concentration game, also known Pelmanism, Shinkei-suijaku, Pexeso or simply Pairs.

In this game all of the cards are laid face down on the board and two cards are flipped face up over each turn. The object of the game is to turn over pairs of matching cards.

The rules given here are for a standard deck of 52 cards plus 2 Jokers, which are laid face down in 6 rows of 9 cards each.

The player chooses two cards and turns them face up. If they are of the same rank and color (e.g. 6 of hearts and 6 of diamonds, queen of clubs and queen of spades, or both jokers) then the player wins the pair. If they are not of the same rank and color, they are turned face down again. The game ends when the last pair has been picked up.

The score keep track of the number of non-matching pairs turned over. The object is to clear the tableau in the fewest number of turns.
