Yakushima,Virgin Forest of Mount Fuji,
The beautiful image of the moss that I came across in Okutama.

Long before human beings existed,
The very first plant that reached the land from the ocean was the moss.
The moss has not evolved since then.
It may look like faraway galaxy,or a richly coloured palace down the deep ocean,
or may even look like cells which continue dividing.
Mysterious shapes which evokes various images and impresses the people.
Though I am impatient, it keeps me completely riveted.
What I have been looking at closely,
as the spore of the moss swang with my breath, was the original shape.
