Detailed App Info:
Application Description
NOUS celebrates the 15th annual Museums and the Web conference on April 6-9, 2011 with its MW11 application. Museums and the Web is an annual conference exploring the social, cultural, design, technological, economic, and organizational issues of culture, science and heritage on-line.
This application keeps you on track with the happenings at the conference, taking an international perspective:
MW11 gives you an overview about the conference, the speakers and shows you the program. Museums and the Web reviews and analyzes the issues and impacts of networked cultural, natural and scientific heritage. - The community is meeting since 1997, imagining, tracking, analyzing, and influencing the role museums play on the Web.
With the Twitter feed you are in the middle of inspirational opinion leaders, without the need of being on site. To join the game and win NOUS' surprise device you need to solve the George Washington Puzzle. The timer keeps track of your competitiveness and once you've solved the puzzle - you‘re in to win. Good thing is, participation does not require to be at the conference in person.
The NOUS camera functionality provides a live glimpse and keeps you up to date with anonymous user statistics. Further information about interactive features as well as other products and services are provided to answer the most passionate questions about this modern global player.
