Have you ever come across a mountain and wondered what its name is? Well wonder no more. With Peak Locator, you will not only know the name, but also how tall it is. Simply point your mobile device at the peak, click on the peak indicator and the peak information is displayed.

The handy link to Google Maps allows you to get driving directions to the peak location.

Peak locator allows you to find peaks all over North America. Enter all or part of the peak name and the application will give you a list of peaks to choose from. Once selected, the peak is displayed in the map view.

Peak Locator has 3 display modes. Open scrolling mode lets you find peaks all over North America. Centering mode shows you peaks near you. In rotate mode, you can point your mobile device at a peak and it will move to the top of the display. Rotate mode is designed for use while traveling close to the peaks you are viewing.
