Application Description
A fun and interactive app for learning, with bright and colorful graphics that the children are sure to enjoy!
Receptive Unhealthy Foods is an educational app to teach language skills to all children, but particularly to those with developmental delays. Sometimes, it’s difficult for children to receptively identify unhealthy foods. This app will introduce each concept in isolation using receptive identification.
Children will be presented with pictures of several types of items and then asked to “Touch the _____.” Example: When presented with a picture of candy and cupcake, the child will be asked to “Touch the candy”.
This app will track your child’s progress and isolate the unhealthy foods that your child struggles with. These unhealthy foods will be sent to an additional practice feature. This app is also capable of tracking the data of multiple children, without overlapping their data.
This app will be a valuable resource for IEP meetings, conferences, and team meetings.
Once each unhealthy food is mastered in rotation, the app will explain how you can generalize them into the child’s natural environment.
