Scheduling Monitor for SAP BusinessObjects XI 4.0 communicates with the SAP BusinessObjects XI 4.0 platform to monitor the scheduled documents and their status. It provides you with a list of all the scheduled documents and their current state -failed,pending,paused,running,completed. Failed schedules are delivered to the iPad as a push notification. Scheduling Monitor consists of a server application in addition to the iOS application which needs to be deployed on the SAP BusinessObjects XI 4.x server machine. This component provides a RESTful web service which has been developed on top of the SAP BusinessObjects XI 4.x SDK, which in turn is the communication channel between the iOS app and the SAP BusinessObjects XI 4.x platform.
