Stratus Horizon is a free application designed to display the AHRS data from Stratus II, a portable ADS-B weather and traffic receiver with built in AHRS (Stratus II sold separately). Stratus II delivers subscription free weather, traffic and AHRS data to iPads, iPods and iPhones over a WiFi connection. The Stratus Horizon application displays the AHRS data on an intuitive EFIS display for enhanced situational awareness. Note: weather and traffic are available on Foreflight Mobile, a separately sold application.

Multiple iDevices can be connected to a single Stratus II, so the intended use case is to have at least two devices connected with one running Stratus Horizon and another running Foreflight Mobile to provide a glass cockpit experience in any aircraft.

Stratus Status

Stratus Horizon provides the ability to view the status of your Stratus II through the app (i.e. battery level, connection status, GPS reception quality, etc.) and also allows the user to control certain features of Stratus II such as LED light brightness.
