Chef Ron Eyester & Jason Chenette of Rosebud are proud to bring Morningside its own “watering hole” and cozy eatery with The Family Dog. The Family Dog will establish itself as a haven of the neighborhood, offering its guests creative, farm-to-table pub cuisine and an innovative fare of handcrafted beers and cocktails… And you know music will have its place; wait til you see our jukebox!

Serving as Rosebud’s playgroud, The Family Dog flaunts an over 40 foot long bar, while serving creative bar food, craft beers and an ex­tensive selection of small production spirits. Ron’s approach to the food at The Family Dog coincides with his ap­proach to Rosebud. His is mantra could not be simpler: “buy local.” He is constantly challenging himself to resource the freshest avail­able products. Keeping in the spirit of the playground, Ron takes simple bar food and adds fun and unique twists, taking bar fare to the next level on the menu at The Family Dog.

Ron loves his music and he likes it loud. Don’t ask him to turn it down. But feel free to take advantage of the juke box! Featuring everything from Hank Williams to David Allan Coe to the Grateful Dead, the juke box is crucial to the mood of the bar.
The Family Dog also features local artists playing live music every Friday, Saturday & Sunday.
