Application Description
DOGFIGHT WITH UP TO 4 PLAYERS ON 1 DEVICE!
The ULTIMATE action head-to-head game on the iPhone/iPod Touch!
Compete with friends or play cooperatively in a vicious dogfight!
Each plane is controlled with a single finger, allowing for up to 4 players to play simultaneously:
- drag the throttle left and right to turn your plane
- tap the throttle to fire
- double tap the throttle for a boost!
(a quick vertical drag on the throttle will also boost)
FEATURES:
- play against other players or cooperatively against computer AI opponents
- each plane can be set to human player, computer, or off.
- choose which players are your friends or opponents for the battle by assigning teams
- configure the amount of ammunition between reloads up to unlimited
- configure the amount of lives for each player
- configure a time limit for the battle
- toggle airplane collisions off or on (if you want to play hardcore!)
- toggle friendly fire off or on to on to force teammates to watch their shots!
- allow or disallow auto boosting
To force an end to the match simply hold the center of the screen for 2 seconds.
If a skull appears by your finger you have run out of lives.
The computer players for the green and blue planes are easy, the red and yellow planes are more difficult.
Auto boost is a feature for experienced players who want a way to be able to boost without wasting ammunition. Auto boost is used by lifting your finger from the joystick, after about 1/3 second your plane will boost, then you can place your finger back without using ammo.
