ABOUT THE ARTIST
The artist, Ronnie Rooney, describes what inspired her to paint these wonderful creatures: "Inspiration for the game board was my daughter Isabella. I wanted to create something for her room that would help her with her alphabet, so I came up with these cute creatures. They are rendered in gouache, which is a thicker, more opaque watercolor paint."
Ronnie earned a Master of Fine Arts in Illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design located in Savannah, Georgia, USA.
