Application Description
Art in Romney Marsh (AiRM) offers contemporary visual artists the opportunity to create site specific work in response to the medieval churches of Romney Marsh and their remote wetland location.
The work exhibited includes more traditional approaches such as painting, ceramics, drawing and sculpture and extends to experimental work in sound, video, film, digital media and mixed media installations.
The emphasis is on visitors sharing and engaging in the architecture and location in new exciting way. The festival runs over 4 weekends in September and October.
