Alish is an application for a Turkish coloring book that offers more than the ordinary lines-application. It is inspired by Taro Gomi, the illustrator that turned coloring books into an art. In Taro Gomi's style, black-and-white pictures are left unfinished for the child to complete as (s)he pleases. Gomi's white and clear space are an expanse where the child's imagination runs free and rides on infinite possibilities of pictures and colors. Özlem Şekercioğlu Lesport's book is an interpretation of Gomi's coloring book technique but with a twist: it is accompanied by a tasty story line.
