Art Of Old World is a mobile client app for The Web Gallery of Art, a virtual museum and searchable database of Western (European) fine arts of the Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, Neoclassicism, Romanticism, Realism, and Impressionism periods (1000-1900), currently containing over 33.300 reproductions.

The app is useful as a virtual museum for European painting and sculpture from the 11th to the 19th centuries. You can use the app as an educational tool in art history or an art reference.

The arts collection can be browsed from the alphabetic Artist Index. You can also use the built-in search engine to find individual or selected groups of pictures.

Images shared from within the app can only be used for educational and personal purposes. Distribution of the images in any form is prohibited without the authorization of their legal owner.
