Audio Surveyor is the next generation in layout tools for the sound engineer from Christos. This is a mini-CAD tool to layout speakers in a sound space to examine relative placement, sound dispersion to discover hot and cold spots in the resulting sound scape.

The user starts by holding down their finger on the layout and a pop-up appears allowing them to add either speakers or corners in the floor shape. Once a speaker is added, the user can touch on the point and slide it into position. The user can also touch the projection image of the speaker (the plume) and slide their finger to change the speaker aim angle. Further, the also touch with two fingers and spread fingers to change the deflection. For more precision, simply double tap on the speaker point and change the aim angle and deflection with common UIF dialog controls for fine adjustment.

To add property corners, touch and hold and select property point from the pop up menu and a new corner in the property perimeter will be added. The user can then touch and slide to change the position of the corners.

The application saves the state after it is closed to allow incremental work. To start with a fresh worksheet, double press the home key and remove the app from the process queue.
