Augmented PDF is a fast, “Web 2.0” PDF reader for iPad. Why we call it Augmented? When you read a document, it often happens that you may want to find more info on a certain topic (like the picture of a place, the life of an historical character and so on). You can quit the document you're reading, open the web browser, search and get the infos you like to know and then return to your document. But often that means losing the context you were in. So we came up with the idea to enrich your user experience by providing the search tools directly on the PDF document. Augmented means empowered, enriched: with Augmented PDF you can read a travel book, tap on a corner, make a search on Wikipedia or YouTube for videos or infos, save them as contextual notes, and return to your reading, in just a few seconds. You can upload PDF documents by searching them on web, via Wi-Fi, or with iTunes.
