Book and Ball 3b
Detailed App Info:
Application Description
This is our 3rd lesson, Part 2, for learning English. It has a lesson, and a game.
We review some of Book & Ball 1 and Book & Ball 3a, but with new patterns. New words and sentences are taught as well, continuing to focus on objects and actions around the child’s home.
So far, the child has learned about some of the people, and some of the objects, in her home, and has connected them. Now, a few food items are also introduced, to form even more useful sentences (“Tea”, “She is drinking tea.”) and to remind her of the numbers in Book & Ball 1 (“Banana”, “He is eating 3 bananas.”) And, of course, “I” is now introduced; we begin to distinguish I, he, she and it.
The child should take his time, not rush through. At a relaxed pace, let the child find his way back to the app whenever he feels like playing with it.
As always, we show only words which can be built with. Our focus is on listening & speaking; the child must say the words aloud every time.
As always, all lessons build on past apps. The child needs to have really practised the previous lessons before starting this one!
