Budget Signs first opened their doors in the mid 1970’s, and was founded by Robbie Henderson, who is a highly respected member of the sign trade in Western Australia, Perth. Before opening Budget Signs, Robbie worked for several Perth Sign firms, such as Rich Signs and Hall & Myer Signs.

In the last 37 years, Budget Signs have offered their services to a broad expanse of industries, including the mining industry, and the building and construction industry. No job has been too big or small for Budget Signs. They have also offered their services to the small business sector as well as rides at the royal show.

A high percentage of the customers at Budget Signs have been coming to Robbie for well over 15 years: Indeed some of his customers have been with him, since he opened his doors back in the mid 70’s. All customers unanimously say the reason they keep going back to Budget Signs is their ability to give a highly personalized service, whilst repeatedly delivering outstanding results, which they cannot get from other sign companies.

Budget Signs was amongst the first sign shops in Perth to recognize the enormous value in computerized sign making, so they set out to blend the all-important traditional skills and craftsmanship of a professional sign writer, with today’s modern technology. By incorporating computer graphics as part of their standard manufacturing processes, they have been able to produce superlative results, through combining their traditional sign writing skills with today’s computer tools.

In the early 80’s Robbie’s oldest son, Ian joined the business and shortly thereafter Robbie’s second son, Bruce joined. Both boys completed their sign trade apprenticeships at Budget Signs. Today they are highly skilled craftsmen, with over 25 years experience in modern and traditional sign manufacturing. Over the years, Robbie contributed greatly to the community through employing numerous staff both in a permanent and casual capacity.
