Application Description
Cardiac anatomy at your fingertips! This is an interactive atlas where touching a part of the heart shows you its name. For medical professionals, take this with you on rounds. For students of any age, learn the parts of the heart. Labeled cine images show a beating heart in various projections. The cine images can be slowed down or sped up. This dynamic atlas is a modern, intuitive way to learn anatomy.
Also included are selected Gray's anatomy images of the heart and major vessels.
This app is part of the Oslermed.ca project of the University of Toronto led by Dr. Kieran Murphy MB BCh FRCPC FSIR. It is meant to be a mobile pocket atlas of general cardiac anatomy.
