The complete blood count, or CBC, is the most commonly performed blood test. The information from this collection of many tests is often extensive. The CBC Advisor is an application that interprets inputted CBC data using age and sex based normal ranges, and gives results. Recommendations for smear review when appropriate are included. The results may be lengthy, but they are not necessarily all inclusive of the disease possibilities. Furthermore, normal ranges vary based on testing altitude, instrumentation, and patient race.
