Application Description
Are you stuck manually counting the number of cells in microscopy images? Seeing as this is the most boring activity known to man, shouldn't the computer be doing it for you?
Cellcounter counts the number of cells in an image. It uses the cell size as the single adjustable parameter. This parameter is adjusted using a slider control. The calculation results are updated in real-time.
Once the parameter has been adjusted to match the average cell size, an entire batch of images can quickly be analyzed, and the results copied into Excel or similar software.
The app handles both fluorescence and bright-field images.
If you have difficult images to work with, we recommend that you try the demo off our web page to see the quality of the results on your specific images. You can also experiment with focus / contrast to improve the counting quality.
