Anyone with an iPhone can now acquire a personal alarm that works all over the world!

Cikado Alarm is very easy to use for example when you are walking home late at night. Just start the app on your iPhone and if something should happen, press the "Alarm" button. Your phone will then start to flash and make noise and send an email (in the full version "Cikado Alarm" it is also possible to send SMS) to one or more persons of your choosing in your settings. Your current address and your GPS position will be displayed in the email and your GPS position can be easily displayed on a map via a clickable link.

If you feel threatened and do not want the person who threatens you should be annoyed, you can activate a "Silent Alarm". Your phone does not sound or flash when you activate a silent alarm, but the email will be sent with your current address and your GPS position.

If you just want to inform your contact persons where you are, you can activate the "My position" function. When you press the button, messages are sent with a different title so that the recipients know that you're safe. This feature can be useful if you want to inform someone of where you are in a simple manner. Both your current address and your GPS location are sent in this notice as well.

Note that a GPS position can be difficult to determine if you are indoors.
