Application Description
Compass App is a GPS-based compass application that pictorially displays the direction you are travelling.
It has been developed for the iPhone 3G as this has a GPS chipset built into the device.
It may take a few seconds for the application to locate you. When it does, it will give you your Latitude and Longitude values, speed in km/hour or miles per hour and also the angle at which you are travelling.
Note that for this application to work properly, you should be travelling faster than walking speed.
You can now make your own compass from one of your pictures or using your iPhone camera.
Take a picture with your camera or choose from your photo gallery, then resize and move into the compass area.
Your compass image will be stored in your photo gallery. Email your compass to compassapp@googlemail.com and we'll showcase some of the best ones on our iTunes App Store listing.
