Application Description
Confusion: Dementia and Delirium. A bedside guide.
The Confusion app provides guidance in assessing and managing confused patients. Patients with cognitive impairment have higher mortality, length of stay and more complications. The app gives a framework for their assessment including a formulary to guide doctors in reviewing patients’ medications. The overall aim is to improve education whilst preventing adverse events and increasing patient safety.
Use the app as a bedside guide, and reference aid. Complete the case study and receive a downloadable certificate to link onto your programme’s curriculum.
