Contacts Hero helps you backup your contacts internally or externally, keeping your data safe and available everywhere. You can also use Contacts Hero to transfer contacts from a device to another one. The app will keep history of your contacts as you save them, later on you can switch between many versions.

Three backup / restore options are available:

- Device: your device will be used for storage, in that case your contacts are only available locally, if you want to transfer contacts across devices please choose one of the next methods.

- Contacts Hero: contacts are safely transferred to our webservice, you can register for free by clicking the (+) button the the main screen after you select "Contacs Hero" in configuration.

- Dropbox: use this option if you prefer to keep track of your data, a folder will be created in your Dropbox root, the only limit is your disk space.


Usage:

* Backup contacts
- Nothing fancy, simply click the backup button.

* Restore contacts
- Select one of restoration options:
- Add: will add your saved contacts as new entries
- Replace: please be careful when using this option, this will clear your address book before importing your contacts. This option is useful because it will make sure you have no duplicates.
- Merge: the app will try to find existing entries in your address book and replace them by ones from your backup, or add new entries if nothing was found.

- Click the restore button
