So here's the deal: When I take a photo in Instagram, I immediately get prompted to select a filter. Sometimes, I'm just not ready for that. The alternative is to take photos using the built-in camera app, but then it's hard to perfectly frame a square photo using the rectangular view finder. Sometimes, it has to be perfect.
Cropsey allows you to take and save photos using a square view finder. That's it. It's named after the escaped mental patient who terrorized the Staten Island wilderness in the '80s because that's the mentality I was channeling when I decided to stop everything for two days to write an app that takes square photos.
