Welcome to the Crown in Saskatchewan, where our province celebrates the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. 2012 marks the 60th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II's accession to the throne, and Saskatchewan is joining the rest of the country and the Commonwealth in celebrating. His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales and Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cornwall will visit Saskatchewan as part of a Royal Tour of Canada, celebrating the Diamond Jubilee year of Her Majesty The Queen's reign as Queen of Canada. The tour will include stops in New Brunswick and Ontario, as well as Saskatchewan.

Diamond Jubilee Medal
The Diamond Jubilee Medal will mark the 60th anniversary of Her Majesty’s accession to the Throne in 1952. This medal is a tangible way to recognize 60,000 outstanding Canadians of all ages and from all walks of life. Members of the general public from Saskatchewan, and all provinces and territories, are directed to the Governor General’s website to consult the list of partnering organizations, and are advised to contact the organization of their choice to suggest a potential candidate.
