  You also have an "All Activity" view where you can see the hundreds of new items uploaded daily for all ships and ports!
  
  No more digging through Image Gallery, Reviews, Chat, etc to find all the newest stuff... we pump it right into your News Feed.
  
  And, I bet you're asking, "well, why are you calling it a "news feed" instead of a "cruise feed"... well... wait, why aren't we calling it that?

  Reviews: you can now “like” and comment other users’ Ship & Port Reviews.
  
  Chat: conversations are now grouped in “threads” to make it easier to find & participate in discussions that you care about. You can also now “like” chat comments.
  
  Flagging: you can now “flag” chat comments, reviews, and images to help keep up the quality of our content. Examples of instances to flag:
  - this review for Carnival Dream: “OMG how much is a cruise, LOL?!”
  - an uploaded image tagged “Cozumel” but showing the user’s cat
  - a chat message from a salty ship mate dropping “F” bombs
  
  Fixed Bugs:
  - Price Alerts % issue
  - Pricing not showing for a couple ships
  - Ship Tips not showing
  - My Cruises sorting problem
  - FAQ update

  Introducing... PRICE ALERTS - New Feature!
  
  You can now track the price for any upcoming cruise. Save a future sailing to "My cruises" and you'll see a "Current Price" in your cruise view. Select that and browse different cabin types. To track a price, toggle your Price Alert to "On" and we'll send you an email with any price change.
  
  If your price moves, we'll holler via email. Often, with price drops you can reach out to your cruise line or agent to get credit for the difference.
  
  Other services do this for a fee - we're proud to offer this as another FREE feature and hope you love this addition.

  You’ll find HUGE improvements in the Direct Messages and Friends features. Open up Ship Mate, click DIRECTMSGS from the main menu, and check out the changes.
  
  Also - push notifications should be working much better now. You should receive an alert for the following three actions:
  
  1) direct message
  2) chat reply
  3) image comment
  
  When you see these pop up, slide open and it’ll take you directly to the action.

  Included is the ability to manually add a cruise date for an existing ship. For example - if you sailed the Carnival Victory way back in the the day - like in the 80's - we may not have your itinerary. BUT, you can now manually add that date. Just go into "My cruises" then "Save a cruise." From there select your cruise line and ship and scroll to the very earliest itinerary. You'll see the option to manually set that date.
  
  Also in here are some minor improvements to the new Cabin Feature, like the ability to delete cabin photos.
  
  Crash fixes - killed some big hairy bugs.

  In this release, you'll find our new Cabin Feature! To check it out, select your upcoming cruise from "My Cruises." You'll now see a "My Cabin" option. This feature will work offline as well, so you can find your room while out there on the high seas and internet-less.
  
  We've also fixed the bug with "upcoming cruises," causing crashes for some users.

  With this holiday update, we offer gifts of the digital variety.... including, TOP TIPS for PORTS. Try it - go into a port and check out the wealth of knowledge from tens of thousands of ship mates of cruises past. I personally added one about a really angry goat that I met in Greece.
  
  ALSO... find some new cruise lines that many have been waiting for, including:
  - Paul Gauguin
  - Regent Seven Seas
  - SeaDream Yacht Club
  - Viking Ocean Cruiess
  - New Costa ships (neoRiviera & Diadema)
  - Windstar (within the next week, you'll see her in there)
  
  At the very bottom of the "Add Cruise" section, you'll also find "Other cruise lines." This has hundreds of other cruise ships that we don't have itineraries for, but that you can now still add to your profile. Just find your ship, enter your date, and it'll appear in your Saved Cruises.
  
  We have a big, exciting feature we want to get through before 2015. It's our end-of-year-resolution to get it through, so keep an eye out.

  We've fixed push notifications - you'll now receive a notice when you get a new direct message from another ship mate.
  
  Make sure that these are enabled here:
  
  Settings --> Notifications -> Ship Mate

  You can now fill in your entire cruise history in your Ship Mate profile - no more missing cruise ships!
  
  This has been our #1 request for a long time. Our amazing community has been cruising since the steam engine was first placed into a ship hull. Many a vessel has come and gone since then.
  
  Since we were missing a number of ships, you haven't been able to save your complete cruise history to your profile. This drove a lot of you nuts. With this update, you can now fill those holes in your cruising resume.
  
  We've added roughly 80 new cruise lines and a few hundred ships. We weren't able to get detailed info for each (like deck maps and specific itineraries), but you're now able to add the cruise line, cruise ship and date to your cruise list for all of these that were previously missing.
  
  If we're STILL missing a ship you've sailed, we'll gladly add it asap. You'll notice we've built in the ability for you to request any omissions easily through this new feature extension.
  
  If there are any problems at all, please email us through the app. As always, we'll do our absolute best to help.

  Today I had a picnic in the park. I looked next to my basket and it reminded me of our app, because there were so many bugs. I picked up my blanket and the rest of my salami on rye and headed home, to a bug-free environment.
  
  Right now, Ship Mate is no picnic, but we're doing our best to bring her home. Apologies for missing some of the iOS8 bugs. This update fixes a handful of those, like account creation and "My Schedule" crash.

  BUG: Every now and then, Apple throws a curve ball at us in the way of a new OS release. We have no prior warning of the stuff that they'll break and we're left to scramble for a fix. The latest broke the "date picker" for new cruises and this update fixes that.

  You've told us that you'd like to swim with dolphins, do some tequila tastings, take helicopter tours, etc.
  
  If we could, we'd come pick you up with a helicopter full of drunk dolphins - we tried... it wasn't pretty.
