Daddy's So Dumb
Detailed App Info:
Application Description
Daddy's So Dumb (by John Anderson) is a children's book with the option of audio.
About This Book:
Kids try to live up to an impossible (in their eyes) standard - their parents. This book is meant to take a self-deprecating view of parenthood and show that no one is perfect - especially not this Dad!
The idea for the book came one evening when my son was feeling a little down about not being able to do something. I wanted him to understand that even grown-ups struggle with things and in fact, make mistakes all of the time. I started telling him about some of the dumb things I have done and it turned into a silly session of "Daddy's So Dumb...". When we were done, he was feeling much better about himself. I also believe it is a good lesson to pass on that you can make fun of yourself and still be a confident person!
