Application Description
iCLOUD SHOULD BE ACTIVATED ON YOUR iPAD BEFORE YOU DOWNLOAD THIS APP. The DASS21 Professional application measures the three negative emotional states of depression, anxiety and tension/stress of a respondent. The tool has 21 standardised questions and it is intended for use by Health Professionals and Mental Health Professionals. The assessment can be repeated at various intervals and the application allows for the results of the same respondent or a number of respondents to be compared. It also allows for the results to be printed. DASS21 is an abbreviation for the Depression Anxiety and Stress Scale, which is in the public domain. The University of New South Wales in Australia developed the original paper-based assessment tool. There is a hyperlink to more information on the the tool on the start page of the application. The application uses iCloud connectivity to allow you to access the respondents' records iCloud on a linked Mac as well. The user interface has large buttons and text to make the application accessible for respondents with visual impairment. The application is only compatible with an iPad with IOS7.0 or later for both non-retina and retina displays.
