Diwali Festival Kids Activity
Detailed App Info:
Application Description
Diwali is one of the most important festivals of India. It is a festival of lights. The word "Diwali" means array of lights. Balabharathi.com website came up with a mobile app on the occasion of Diwali festival that works in iPad, iPhone, Android Windows and Mac.
On Diwali day, people do Lakshmi Pooja, eat tasty Indian savories, light lamps all over the house and at night have fun with fireworks. In our Diwali mobile app, we made 5 sections based on all these activities people have on that special day.
First section is Diwali story, in which kids know about the importance and significance of Diwali festival in a book. The story has colorful pictures and will be narrated in English so that it is understood easily.
Second section is coloring Diwali festival related pictures. In this coloring activity kids can color Hindu gods like Ganesh, Lakshmi, Krishna and Rama. They can also color rangolis, Indian monuments etc. for fun.
In the third section, kids can have fun with virtual fireworks display. There are 6 different types of fireworks, each of it can be played separately as many times as you want for unending fun.
Fourth section is Diwali Pooja in which kids can pray Goddess Lakshmi by saying slokas and listen to the famous Lakshmi Arti.
In the last section kids can play a memory game with all Diwali related images. Each time they play they get a score based on the time they took to finish the game and the number of flips. They can play again and again to get a new high score.
