Drum Tutor
Detailed App Info:
Application Description
The Drum Tutor was designed solely for the purpose of helping the user hear and practice Middle Eastern, West African and other percussion rhythms that are written in notation form. Each letter in these notations correspond to a specific sound to be played by the drummer.
The Beladi rhythm for example is can be written down as "D-D-tkT-D-tkT-t-". As you might imagine, this is useful but not entirely user-friendly.
The Drum Tutor's job is to translate and play these rhythms to give you a chance to learn while listening. We've included a few rhythms but don't let that stop you from adding your own.
Don't hesitate to use the support email (support@themadceltstudios.com) for any bugs, criticisms or feature requests.
