Application Description
The EMC Controller Application allows your iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch to act as a wireless touch screen controller for your EMC built Pressure House and Diagnostic Cabin training modules.
This application allows trainers to control the modules while moving about the classroom, focusing on teaching rather than on remaining fixed to a stationary control stand. Relevant scenarios are pre-built into the app, which open and close air leaks as well as power on or off appliances to simulate real-world situations that weatherization tradesmen would experience. Trainers even have the ability to create their own scenarios.
How does it work?
Choose one of the pre-programmed pressure scenarios or create your own.
Your command is wirelessly transmitted to the Pressure House or Diagnostic Cabin control panel where appliances are turned on and off, and air leaks are opened and closed.
Pressure conditions created within the house are visually demonstrated by a set of pressure gauges monitoring each space. Backdrafting combustion gasses are simulated by theatrical fog.
